Abstract

Tidur adalah proses fisiologi yang harus selalu ada dalam siklus kehidupan manusia. Tidur yang baik dapat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas tidur. Kualitas tidur memiliki dua aspek yaitu kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Aspek kuantitatif terdiri dari durasi tidur. Sedangkan aspek kualitatif memiliki dua atribut yaitu efisiensi dan latensi tidur. Orang yang memiliki kualitas tidur yang buruk yang salah satunya tercerminkan dalam durasi tidur pendek seringkali menghadapi banyak masalah dalam kehidupannya. Masalah yang dapat terjadi dan seringkali terabaikan adalah peningkatan biomarker inflamasi dalam darah sebagai penanda adanya proses inflamasi yang berlangsung namun tidak terlihat. Masalah lain yang dapat muncul karena kualitas dan kuantitas tidur yang buruk ini adalah penurunan kadar hemoglobin. Oleh karena itu, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh durasi tidur pendek terhadap hemoglobin, leukosit, neutrofil, dan LED. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analitik korelasional dengan studi cross sectional. Penilaian durasi tidur menggunakan Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), kemudian sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok durasi tidur normal (≥7 jam/24 jam) dan yang berdurasi tidur pendek (<7 jam/24 jam), untuk kadar LED dilakukan pemeriksaan menggunakan metode Westergren, sedangkan kadar hemoglobin, leukosit, dan neutrofil dicek menggunakan alat hematoanalyzer. Data diuji menggunakan chi-square dan didapatkan hasilnya nilai sig. (2-sided) >0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara durasi tidur dengan hemoglobin, leukosit, neutrofil dan LED. Hubungan yang tidak signifikan antara durasi tidur dengan hemoglobin, leukosit, neutrofil, dan LED dapat terjadi karena banyaknya keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini salah satunya adalah kurangnya jumlah sampel yang diteliti.Kata kunci: Durasi tidur, Hemoglobin, Leukosit, Neutrofil, LED. / Sleep is a physiological process that has to present always in human’s life cycle. Good sleep can be affected by sleep quality. Sleep quality has two aspects: quantitative and qualitative aspects. The quantitative aspect consists of sleep duration. While the qualitative aspect has two attributes: efficiency and sleep latency. People who have poor sleep quality, one of which is reflected in short sleep duration, often face many problems in their life. A problem that can occur and is often overlooked is an increase in inflammatory biomarkers in the blood as a marker of an ongoing but invisible inflammatory process. Another problem that can arise due to poor quality and quantity of sleep is a decrease in hemoglobin levels. Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the effect of short sleep duration on hemoglobin, leukocyte, neutrophil and ESR levels. The research method used in this research is correlational analytic with cross sectional study. The assessment of sleep duration in this study used the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), the sample was then divided into two groups: normal sleep duration (≥7/24 jam hours) and short sleep duration (<7 hours/24 jam). The ESR level was examined using the Westergren method, while hemoglobin leukocyte, amd neutrophil levels were checked using a hematoanalyzer. The data was tested using chi-square and the results obtained were sig. (2-sided) > 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between sleep duration and hemoglobin, leukocyte, neutrophil, and ESR levels. The insignificant relationship between sleep duration and hemoglobin, leukocytes, neutrophils, and ESR levels can occur due to the many limitations in this study, one of which is the low number of samples studied.Keywords: Sleep duration, Hemoglobin, Leukocytes, Neutrophils, ESR
