Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta Timur. Instrumen pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemberian kuesioner kepada seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dihitung menggunakan Statistical Packages for Social Science (SPSS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) melihat apakah ada hubungan antara layanan konseling individu dengan tugas perkembangan sosial peserta didik di SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta Timur; 2) melihat sejauh mana fungsi guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam membantu peserta didik menuntaskan tugas perkembangannya dalam fase remaja. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terlihat adanya hubungan antara layanan konseling individu dengan tugas perkembangan sosial peserta didik namun, bersifat sangat rendah, dapat terlihat melalui hasil nilai korelasi sebesar 0.076. Pada variabel layanan konseling individu terlihat pula hasil realibilitas sebesar 0.913 dan pada variabel tugas perkembangan sebesar 0.941. Ditemukan beberapa faktor yang juga dapat menentukan tugas perkembangan sosial peserta didik seperti motivasi dari orangtua dan keluarga, dukungan yang positif dari orang-orang sekitar, mampu membantu peserta didik dalam menuntaskan tugas perkembangannya dengan baik. Peserta didik membutuhkan faktor dari luar dan dalam yang seimbang agar dapat menuntaskan tugas perkembangannya dengan baik. Kata kunci : Layanan Konseling Individu, Tugas Perkembangan, Remaja. This research is a type of quantitative research conducted at SMP Negeri 49 East Jakarta. Data collection instruments were carried out through questionnaires to all grade VIII students. In this study, data collection techniques used a questionnaire that was calculated using Statistical Packages for Social Science (SPSS). This study aims to: 1) see whether there is a relationship between individual counseling services with the social development task of students at SMP Negeri 49 East Jakarta; 2) see the extent of the function of the Guidance and Counseling teacher in helping students complete their developmental tasks in the teenage phase. The results of this study are seen the relationship between individual counseling services with students' social development tasks but, very low in nature, can be seen through the results of the correlation value of 0.076. In the individual counseling service variable, the reliability results are 0.913 and the development task variable is 0.941. Found several factors that can also determine students' social development tasks such as motivation from parents and family, positive support from people around, able to help students in completing their development tasks properly. Students need balanced external and internal factors in order to complete their developmental tasks properly. Keywords: Individual Counseling Services, Development Tasks, Youth.
