Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI MIPA mata pelajaran fisika materi elastisitas bahan dan hukum Hooke melalui model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) dan model pembelajaran student teams achievement division (STAD) di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 2 Pekanbaru, Riau. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru, yang terdiri dari 5 kelas XII MIPA berjumlah 180 siswa. Teknik sampling menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas XI MIPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode tes. Teknik untuk mengukur hasil belajar menggunakan pretest dan posttest yang berbentuk tes objektif. Uji analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian meliputi uji independent sample t test dan uji N�Gain score. Pengolahan data yang dilakukan dengan berbantuan program software SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan siginifikan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL dengan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan uji independent t test menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikasinya adalah 0,161 > 0,05. Hasil uji N-Gain score di kelas eksperimen 1 sebesar 0,79 menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar interpretasi tinggi. Begitu juga hasil di kelas eksperimen 2 sebesar 0,74 menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar interpretasi tinggi. Dengan demikian, hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) lebih tinggi karena berfokus pada pemecahan masalah sehingga memiliki pemahaman konsep yang baik dibanding dengan model pembelajaran student teams achievement division (STAD). Kata Kunci : PBL, STAD, Hasil Belajar Siswa, Tatap Muka./ This study aims to compare the learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA in physics subject matter elasticity of materials and Hooke's law through problem based learning (PBL) learning models and student teams achievement division (STAD) learning models at State Senior High School 2 Pekanbaru, Riau. This research is a quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental type of research. The population of this research is all students of class XI Mathematics and Natural Sciences at SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru, which consists of 5 classes XII Mathematics and Natural Sciences totaling 180 students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique, so that the sample of this study was class XI MIPA 3 as experimental class 1 and class XI MIPA 5 as experimental class 2. The data collection technique used the test method. The instrument to measure learning outcomes uses a pretest and posttest in the form of an objective test. The data analysis test used in the study included the independent sample t test and the N-Gain score test. Data processing was carried out with the help of the SPSS version 26 software program. The results showed that there was no significant difference in student learning outcomes using the PBL learning model and student learning outcomes using the STAD learning model. This is indicated by the independent t test which shows that the significance value is 0.161 > 0.05. The results of the N-Gain score test in the experimental class 1 of 0.79 high interpretation. Likewise, the results in the experimental class 2 were 0.74 high interpretation. Thus, student learning outcomes using the problem based learning (PBL) learning model are higher because they focus on problem solving so that they have a good conceptual understanding compared to the student teams achievement division (STAD) learning model.
