Abstract

Penyusunan tesis ini membahas mengenai upaya untuk mengetahui revitalisasi terhadap falsafah sitou timou tumou tou terhadap perilaku baku cungkel pada masyarakat desa Touure kecamatan Tompaso Barat kabupaten Minahasa. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana falsafah sitou timou tumou tou dimaknai dengan baik dan benar dan bagaimana perilaku baku cungkel terbentuk sebagai kebiasaan dan bagaimana upaya revitalisasi sitou timou tumou tou dalam mengubah perilaku baku cungkel di desa Touure kecamatan Tompaso Barat kabupaten Minahasa. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode triangulasi yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 14 orang, antara lain: 4 orang Tokoh Adat, 3 orang Tokoh Agama, 4 orang Pemerintah Desa Touure, dan 3 orang Masyarakat Desa Touure. Dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan bahwa falsafah sitou timou tumou tou sudah dimaknai dengan baik dan benar, tetapi masyarakat desa Touure sulit menjadi pelaku dari pemaknaan nilai tersebut, dan perilaku baku cungkel terbentuk menjadi kebiasaan karena telah mengakar terhadap respons diri masyarakat terhadap ketidakmampuan untuk bersaing sehingga baku cungkel dijadikan resistensi untuk dijadikan alat perlawanan dan pertahanan diri, ditemukan juga dalam penelitian ini bahwa, belum ada upaya konkret merevitalisasi sitou timou tumou tou mengubah dalam perilaku baku cungkel di masyarakat desa Touure kecamatan Tompaso Barat kabupaten Minahasa, tetapi sudah pernah ada upaya yang berbentuk wacana yang sama sekali belum ada perwujudan secara konkrit sehingga harus dipandu secara bersama dengan stakeholder supaya upaya yang telah diwacanakan akan segera dilakukan. Kata kunci: Revitalisasi, Sitou Timou Tumou Tou, Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Baku Cungkel./ The preparation of this thesis discusses efforts to find out the revitalization of the philosophy of sitou timou tumou tou on the behavior of baku cungkel in the Touure village community, West Tompaso district, Minahasa district. The purpose of this study is to find out how the sitou timou tumou tou interpreted properly and how the baku cungkel behavior is formed as a habit and how the efforts to revitalize sitou timou tumou tou in changing the Baku cungkel in Touure village, Tompaso Barat sub-district Minahasa district. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods with an ethnographic approach. The data collection technique used is the triangulation method, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of 14 people, including: 4 traditional leaders, 3 religious leaders, 4 Touure Village Government, and 3 Touure Village Community. From the results of this study, the researchers found that the philosophy of sitou timou tumou tou has been interpreted properly and correctly, but the Touure village community is difficult to be the perpetrators of the meaning of these values, and the behavior of raw prying is formed into a habit because it has been rooted in the community's self-response to the inability to compete. so that the standard of baku cungkel is used as resistance to be used as a means of resistance and self-defense, it was also found in this study that, there has been no concrete effort to revitalize sitou timou tumou tou to change the behavior of baku cungkel in the Touure village community, Tompaso Barat sub-district, Minahasa district, but there have been attempts that have in the form of a discourse that has no concrete realization at all, so it must be guided together with stakeholders so that the efforts that have been discussed will be carried out immediately.
