Abstract

Sumber energi air yang terbaharukan dari alam yang melimpah di berbagai daerah indonesia menjadi dasar pemikiran untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohidro menggantikan kebutuhan listrik yang menggunakan sumber energi dari bahan bakar fosil. Sebelum melakukan proses perancangan unit pembangkit listrik tenaga mikro hidro, terlebih dahulu dilakukan studi potensi pada objek berupa air untuk mengetahui gambaran potensi secara umum. Di desa Girimulyo pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohidro bukan hanya sebagai pembangkit listrik tetapi dipadukan dengan objek wisata air dan wisata edukasi untuk masyarakat setempat. Dari hasil survei dan pengamatan diperoleh debit air Q = 0,2 m3/s. dan tinggi jatuh air H = 16,5 m. Berdasarkan ketinggian dan debit jatuh air yang telah diketahui, dipilih jenis turbin pelton mikrohidro sebagai pembangkit tenaga penggerak yang direncanakan. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh daya turbin adala 20,162 kW. Berdasarkan beberapa data tersebut direncanakan dimensi utama turbin pelton Mikrohidro berdiameter roda D = 448 mm, dengan jumlah nosel adalah 2 buah, diameter poros d = 38 mm, dengan transmisi yang digunakan adalah flat belt dengan perbandingan 1:2./ Renewable water energy sources from nature which are abundant in various regions of Indonesia are the rationale for being used as a micro-hydro power plant to replace electricity needs that use energy sources from fossil fuels. Before carrying out the process of designing a micro hydro power plant unit, a potential study of the object in the form of water is first carried out to find out an overview of the potential in general. In Girimulyo village the micro-hydro power plant is not only used as a power plant but is combined with water tourism objects and educational tours for the local community. From the results of surveys and observations, it is obtained that the water discharge Q = 0.2 m3/s. and the height of the water fall H = 16.5 m. Based on the known height and water fall discharge, the Pelton micro hydro turbine was chosen as the planned propulsion power plant. The calculation results obtained turbine power is 20,162 kW. Based on some of these data, it is planned that the main dimensions of the Pelton Microhydro turbine have a wheel diameter of D = 448 mm, with 2 nozzles, shaft diameter d = 38 mm, and the transmission used is Flat Belt with a ratio of 1:2.
