Abstract

Pada industi kertas karton, fan pump di mesin kertas 4 merupakan pompa dengan tipe Double-Suction Axially-Split Single-Stage Centrifugal Pump yang berfungsi mengalirkan fluida ke headbox. Dari data kerusakan pompa, pompa ini sering mengalami kerusakan pada bagian coupling, bearing, dan gland paking. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode Reliability Centered Mainenance bertujuan untuk mengetahui komponen-komponen kritis, mengklasifikasi mode kegagalan dan mengetahui strategi perawatan komponen-komponen, sehingga kegagalan fungsi pompa pada saat mesin beroperasi dapat dihindari. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa availability pompa adalah 99,6% dari target seharusnya 100%. Untuk meningkatkan availibility, strategi perawatan komponen yang harus dilakukan diantaranya Condition Directed (64,70% dari 17 komponen), Failure Finding (17,65% dari 17 komponen), dan Run to Failure (17,65% dari 17 komponen) untuk menghindari kerusakan komponen-komponen yang diklarifikasi dengan penyusunan Logic Tree Analysis yang termasuk kategori A atau safety problem (11,8% dari 17 komponen), B atau outage problem (82,3%) dan C atau economic problem (5,9% dari 17 komponen)./ In the paperboard industry, the fan pump in the paper machine 4 is a Double-Suction Axially-Split Single-Stage Centrifugal Pump type pump that delivers fluid to the headbox. From the pump damage data, this pump often suffers damage to the coupling, bearing, and gasket glands. In this study, the author uses the Reliability Centered Mainenance method to determine critical components, classify failure modes and determine component maintenance strategies, so that pump failure when the engine is operating can be avoided. The results of this study found that the availability of the pump is 99.6% of the target should be 100%. To increase availability, component maintenance strategies that must be carried out include Condition Directed (64.70% of 17 components), Failure Finding (17.65% of 17 components), and Run to Failure (17.65% of 17 components) to avoiding damage to components that are clarified by compiling a Logic Tree Analysis which includes category A or security problems (11.8% of 17 components), B or blackout problems (82.3%) and C or economic problems (5.9% of 17 components).
