Abstract

Anak merupakan asset untuk suatu negara karena anak merupakan generasi yang akan melanjutkan kehidupan, nasib, serta cita-cita dari negara di masa yang akan mendatang. Akan tetapi anak kerap menjadi korban dalam suatu tindak kejahatan. Maka dari itu perlindungan hukum sangatlah penting diberikan kepada anak semaksimal mungkin karena jika anak diberikan perlindungan dan pemantauan secara maksimal, maka anak tercipta generasi bangsa yang baik dan nasib bangsa dimasa yang akan mendatang juga baik. Tujuan dari dibuatnya penelitian ini antara lain untuk mengetahui peranan anak yang rentan menajdi korban tindak kejahatan eksploitasi ekonomi dan seksual serta perlindungan hukum yang diperoleh sebagai korban dari tindak kejahatan eksploitasi ekonomi dan seksual. Penelitian yang dilakukan dalam skripsi ini menggunakan penelitian normative yang pendekatannya melalui perundang-undangan yang terkait dengan persoalan masalah yang terdapat dalam skripsi ini yaitu Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2014 Tentang Perubahan Atas Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2002 Tentang Perlindungan Anak. Dari penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor yang menjadi alasan dalam pernana anak sebagai korban tindak kejahatan eksploitasi ekonomi dan seksual. Korban dari suatu tindak kejahatan eksploitasi ekonomi dan seksual mendapatkan perlidungan khusus yang wajib diberikan oleh pemerintah, pemerintah daerah, atau lembaga negara lainnya./Children are an asset for a country because children are the generation that will continue the life, destiny, and ideals of the country in the future. However, children are often victims of a crime. Therefore, it is very important to give legal protection to children as much as possible because if children are given maximum protection and monitoring, it will create a good nation generation and the fate of the nation in the future will also be good. The purpose of this research is to determine the role of children who are vulnerable to being victims of economic and sexual exploitation crimes as well as the legal protection that children are entitled to as victims of economic and sexual exploitation crimes. The research conducted in this thesis uses normative research whose approach is through legislation related to the problems contained in this thesis, namely Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. From this study it can be concluded that there are several factors that are the reasons for the role of children as victims of economic and sexual exploitation crimes. Victims of a crime of economic and sexual exploitation receive special protection that must be provided by the government, local government, or other state institutions.
