Abstract
Men and women are physically different. Most importantly, they also have different roles in a family. Nonetheless, this paper shows how men and women have similar rights and obligations to protect their country. As a threat perception is changing in the last decade, both men and women have responsibilities to secure the national interests. This is true according to the 1945 Indonesian Constitution. Both of them are the reserve components of the nation power without gender separation. However, there is one condition to fulfill women’s role in national resilience. This is to mention the intelligence that should be developed by Indonesian women. By having this multiple intelligence Indonesian women will know their role and furthermore will perform their role in family, society and the country. To support this argument, the paper will conduct content analysis methodology towards 1945 Indonesian Consitution (UUD 1945), coupled with other supporting opinion and written documents.
