Abstract
School of Victory Plus has implemented International Baccalaurette Curriculum (IB) and National Curriculum of 2013, which emphasize on the purpose of the learning process that is to produce the young generation who have good character, smart intellectually and have the skills, have a spiritual attitude and also have good social attitudes. On the application of the IB curriculum, it is clearly set on the learners’ profile and attitudes that must be owned by the learner of IB schools and it is sustainably emphasized at all levels in IB schools. This is in line with the government whose emphasis is on character education that is integrated in school subjects through the implementation of the National Curriculum of 2013 to produce intelligent learners both intellectually and emotionally, good manners and morals and also good character. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of character education in the curriculum of 2013 and IB. The result is it is integrated with subjects and contextual learning.
