Abstract

The development of education in the world cannot be separated from the development of the 4.0 industrial revolution that occurred in the world which indirectly contributed to changing the educational system in a country. Higher education is inseparable from the threat of being disrupted if it does not make changes and adjusts its role in adapting to the era of digitalization in order to be able to compete internationally. The purpose of this article is to provide information about the role of technology in supporting the education system at the university so as to produce superior and globally competitive students. The method use in writing this article use literature studies from scientific papers publish online. Based on the results of literature search, it is known that facilitating students in studying and internships abroad and the exixtence of international student exchanges is an effective strategy in building higher education with international standard. International research collaboration by lecturers can enhance international cooperation in higher education. Government, Private and industrial supports is one solution in supporting the achievement of higher education in creating superior, professional and globally competitive human resources.
