Abstract

The development of the world of industry and information technology is very fast and massive causing changes in the system and order of human life, institutions and organizations, including the world of education.The disruption era 4.0 if not interpreted positively will bring destruction and even setback for an institution or organization, especially in terms of human resources. As one of the universities in Indonesia, Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI), which has many human resources, inevitably must also prepare to face the current of globalization and the industrial revolution 4.0. This study tries to analyze the extent to which the readiness of human resources at Universitas Kristen Indonesia in the face of the industrial revolution 4.0 by using the literature method and through the descriptive method approach. The results of this study indicate that the readiness of human resources in the face of the industrial revolution 4.0 requires continuous training, selective recruitment and adaptive coaching to get UKI human resources that can survive the crisis in the face of industrial revolution 4.0 become more innovative, adaptive, creative and superior.
