Abstract

This research discusses trade relations Indonesia and China in the era of Joko Widodo. In the era of the reign of Joko Widodo Indonesia trade relations and China has increased. This is evident with the rise of China economic cooperation relations between Indonesia and China. Indonesia and China have in common, namely where the two countries have a dense population. Therefore the two countries complement each other to establish the relationship of international trade. In this study the formulation of the problem there are two namely How Indonesia and Tiongokok trade relations in the Era of President Joko Widodo (2014-2017), Whether the balance of trade of Indonesia and China in the Era of President Joko Widodo has increased. The purpose of this research is to find out how Indonesia trade relations and trade balance to see Indonesia and China in the era of Joko Widodo. This research used the qualitative research methodology descriptive analysis approach. The theory is the theory of bilateral cooperation and international trade. The results of this study indicate, that in the era of Joko Widodo trade relations between Indonesia and China experienced a closeness, this is because in the era of Joko Widodo want to focus to infrastructure and Joko Widodo would like China to become one of the investors. In the era of Joko Widodo Indonesia trade balance deficit, this is because the value of Indonesia's import is still greater than the value of its export. As for things that should be done by Indonesia to balance trade balance Indonesia and China is Indonesia's first, had to do the import substitution development as well as improve the quality of Indonesia's exports to China and use non tariff policy to protect domestic goods as well as the control of imports.
