Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas kesalahan penggunaan kata kerja 做 zuò dan 作 zuò dalam bahasa Mandarin oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI) angkatan 2019–2024. Kedua kata kerja tersebut memiliki pelafalan dan nada yang sama serta makna yang berdekatan, sehingga sering menyebabkan mahasiswa melakukan kesalahan dalam penggunaannya dan perlu dilakukan analisis lebih mendalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner survei berupa tes tertulis yang diisi oleh 30 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin UKI. Data dianalisis dengan mengklasifikasikan kesalahan penggunaan kata kerja 做 zuò dan 作 zuò berdasarkan aspek semantik dan tata bahasa dengan mengacu pada teori Analisis Kesalahan yang dikemukakan oleh S.P. Corder dan Carl James. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekitar sepertiga dari 30 mahasiswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam membedakan penggunaan kata kerja 做 zuò dan 作 zuò. Kesalahan yang paling dominan adalah kesalahan semantik, khususnya pada penggunaan kata kerja 作 zuò dalam konteks tindakan yang bersifat konkret. / This study examines errors in the use of the Mandarin Chinese verbs 做 zuò and 作 zuò by students of the Mandarin Language Education Program at Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI) from the 2019–2024 cohort. Both verbs share the same pronunciation and tone and have closely related meanings, which frequently leads to confusion and errors in their usage, necessitating in-depth analysis. This research adopts a descriptive approach combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Data were collected through a survey questionnaire in the form of a written test completed by 30 students from the Mandarin Language Education Program at UKI. The errors were analyzed and classified based on semantic and grammatical aspects, guided by the Error Analysis theories proposed by S.P. Corder and Carl James. The results show that approximately one-third of the 30 students still struggle to distinguish between the use of the verbs 做 zuò and 作 zuò. The most dominant type of error is semantic, particularly the misuse of 作 zuò in contexts involving concrete actions. / 本研究探讨了印度尼西亚基督教大学(UKI)2019-2024级汉语师范专业学生在汉语中使用动词"做"和"作"的错误情况。这两个动词发音及声调相同,意义相近,常导致学生使用错误,因此有必要进行深入分析。本研究采用定量与定性相结合的描述性研究方法。数据通过问卷形式收集,由30名印度尼西亚基督教大学汉语师范专业学生完成书面测试。依据S.P. Corder和Carl James提出的错误分析理论,数据从语义和语法角度对"做"和"作"的使用错误进行了分类分析。研究结果表明,约三分之一的30名学生仍难以区分"做"和"作"的用法。其中最主要的错误是语义错误,尤其是在具体行为语境下误用动词"作"。
