Abstract

Pada salah satu bagian di unit mesin VE Protos 70, yaitu recycling belt berupa dua buah conveyor belt yang berhubungan, berfungsi membawa tembakau sisa potongan dari unit trimmer disk (tobacco return). Tembakau ini dipotong karena pengisiannya menuju pembentukan batangan volumenya berlebih. Dalam proses transport muncul tembakau yang berjatuhan sehingga menjadi sampah. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi sampah tembakau yang jatuh di recycling belt Maka dalam tugas akhir ini dibahas tentang cara mengembalikan tembakau yang menjadi sampah kemudian di transfer kembali ke reservoir melalui pipa venturi dengan bantuan udara berkompresi Sampah yang akan dikembalikan tertinggi sebesar 2,09 kg dan membutuhkan udara berkompresi 2,5 bar serta daya 1 Watt untuk kompresor. Kata Kunci: Sampah tembakau, pipa venture, dan udara bertekanan / One of unit the Protos VE 70 machine, the recycling belt conveyor belt in the form of two related, tobacco serves to bring the remaining pieces of the trimmer unit disk (tobacco return). Tobacco is cut because filled to the formation of excess volume. In the process of falling tobacco transport appears to be garbage. This thesis aims to reduce tobacco waste that falls in the recycling belt. So in this final discussion on how to return the tobacco waste then transfer back to the reservoir through a venturi tube use compress air.
