Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi seberapa efektif penggunaan e-modul Flip HTML5 pada materi sistem pencernaan dalam meningkatkan literasi sains siswa tingkat SMP. Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini berawal dari rendahnya tingkat literasi sains siswa, khususnya dalam memahami konsep sistem pencernaan yang cenderung abstrak dan sulit diamati secara langsung. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas 32 siswa kelas VIII SMP Pandawa Jakarta yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yakni kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian meliputi soal pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur literasi sains, serta lembar angket keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan adanya peningkatan literasi sains yang signifikan setelah pembelajaran menggunakan e-modul Flip HTML5. Nilai rata-rata N-Gain pada kelompok eksperimen mencapai 62% yang tergolong dalam kategori sedang, sementara pada kelompok kontrol hanya 29% dan berada pada kategori rendah. N- Gain atau Normalized Gain merupakan perhitungan yang digunakan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah perlakuan, dengan memperhitungkan selisih nilai pretest dan posttest terhadap potensi maksimal peningkatan.rumus N-Gain adalah: N-Gain = (Skor posttest - Skor pretest) / (Skor maksimum - Skor pretest). Dengan demikian, N-Gain membantu menunjukkan efektivitas suatu intervensi pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa secara kuantitatif. Peningkatan terlihat di seluruh indikator literasi sains, dengan peningkatan terbesar pada aspek konten dan sikap terhadap sains. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul Flip HTML5 merupakan media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mengembangkan literasi sains siswa secara menyeluruh./This study was conducted to evaluate how effective the use of the Flip HTML5 e- module on the digestive system material is in improving the scientific literacy of junior high school students. The main problem in this study stems from the low level of scientific literacy of students, especially in understanding the concept of the digestive system which tends to be abstract and difficult to observe directly. The method used is a quasi-experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study consisted of 32 eighth-grade students of SMP Pandawa Jakarta who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The research instruments included pretest and posttest questions to measure scientific literacy, as well as a questionnaire sheet for the implementation of learning. The results of the statistical analysis showed a significant increase in scientific literacy after learning using the Flip HTML5 e-module. The average N- Gain value in the experimental group reached 62% which is included in the moderate category, while in the control group it was only 29% and was in the low category. N-Gain or Normalized Gain is a calculation used to determine the extent to which student learning outcomes have improved after treatment, by taking into account the difference in pretest and posttest scores against the maximum potential for improvement. The N-Gain formula is: N-Gain = (Posttest score - Pretest score) / (Maximum score - Pretest score). Thus, N-Gain helps show the effectiveness of a learning intervention in improving student understanding quantitatively. Improvements were seen across all indicators of science literacy, with the greatest improvements in the content and attitudes toward science aspects. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Flip HTML5 e-module is an effective learning medium in developing students' science literacy as a whole.
