Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi pelembagaan politik Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) dalam Pemilihan Legislatif 2024 serta untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelembagaan partai tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan analisis dokumen. Data yang diperoleh dari informan kunci yang terlibat dalam proses pemilu ini, seperti pengurus partai, calon legislatif, dan ahli politik, dianalisis untuk menggambarkan dinamika internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi strategi pelembagaan PPP. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendukung utama dalam pelembagaan PPP adalah penguatan struktur organisasi yang solid serta nilai-nilai ideologi yang moderat dan inklusif. Namun, di sisi lain, terdapat hambatan terkait ketegangan antara nilai ideologi dan tuntutan pragmatisme politik, yang memperburuk citra partai di mata pemilih muda. Selain itu, faktor eksternal seperti koalisi politik turut memengaruhi otonomi keputusan partai, yang mengurangi efektivitas strategi pelembagaan PPP. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan kajian partai politik di Indonesia, khususnya mengenai strategi pelembagaan dalam menghadapi tantangan politik kontemporer. Selain itu, temuan ini dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi bagi PPP untuk memperbaiki strategi dan mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pemilihan legislatif mendatang. Kata Kunci: Pelembagaan politik, Partai Persatuan Pembangunan, Pemilihan Legislatif 2024, Strategi partai, Faktor Pendukung dan Penghambat./ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to analyze the political institutionalization strategy of the United Development Party (PPP) in the 2024 Legislative Election and to identify the supporting and hindering factors in the institutionalization of the party. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews and document analysis. Data obtained from key informants involved in the electoral process, such as party officials, legislative candidates, and political experts, are analyzed to describe the internal and external dynamics that influence PPP's institutionalization strategy. The findings of the research indicate that the main supporting factors in PPP's institutionalization include the strengthening of a solid organizational structure and moderate, inclusive ideological values. However, on the other hand, there are obstacles related to the tension between ideological values and the demands of political pragmatism, which negatively affect the party's image among younger voters. Additionally, external factors such as political coalitions influence the party's decision-making autonomy, reducing the effectiveness of PPP's institutionalization strategy. This research is expected to contribute to the development of political party studies in Indonesia, particularly regarding institutionalization strategies in the face of contemporary political challenges. Furthermore, the findings can serve as an evaluation tool for PPP to improve their strategy and address the challenges faced in future legislative elections.
