Abstract

Ketergantungan terhadap penggunaan energi fosil merupakan permasalahan lingkungan yang masih banyak ditemui di Indonesia, khususnya di Jawa Tengah. Jawa Tengah menghadapi tantangan besar akibat pertumbuhan penduduk yang pesat dan peningkatan konsumsi energi, dimana hampir 90% energi dihasilkan dari bahan bakar fosil. Melalui konsep diplomasi lingkungan dan konsep Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) penelitian ini akan mengeksplorasi implementasi ESP 3 dalam proyek pengelolaan energi bersih. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan peneliti adalah sumber data primer yang diperoleh melalui wawancara, dan data sekunder dikumpulkan melalui buku, jurnal, laporan dan informasi internet tentan energi fosil di Provinsi Jawa Tengah, kerjasama Denmark-Indonesia, dan tentang ESP 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Indonesia mengalami masalah dalam ketergantungan energi fosil di Jawa Tengah, implementasi Environmental Support Programme Phase 3 (ESP 3) adalah memberikan dukungan teknis finansial yang direalisasikan dengan pembangunan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Sampah Jatibarang - Kota Semarang, Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya Kepulauan Karimunjawa - Kabupaten Jepara, Biogas Pati Onggok di Desa Daleman - Kabupaten Klaten, dan transfer teknologi, Teknologi refused-derived fuel di TPA Jeruk Legi - Kabupaten Cilacap, temuan ini mengindikasi implementasi ESP 3 di Jawa Tengah dapat mencapai energi bersih dan mengurangi dampak emisi yang dihasilkan dari penggunaan energi fosil.Kata Kunci: Denmark; Diplomasi Lingkungan; Energi Fosil; ESP 3; Jawa Tengah; SDGs/Dependence on fossil fuel use is an environmental issue that is still widely encountered in Indonesia, particularly in Central Java. Central Java faces significant challenges due to rapid population growth and increased energy consumption, with nearly 90% of energy generated from fossil fuels. Through the concepts of environmental diplomacy and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this study will explore the implementation of ESP 3 in clean energy management projects. This study employs qualitative research methods and a descriptive analytical approach. The primary data sources used by the researcher were obtained through interviews, while secondary data were collected from books, journals, reports, and internet information regarding fossil fuels in Central Java Province, Denmark-Indonesia cooperation, and ESP 3. The research findings indicate that Indonesia faces challenges in its reliance on fossil fuels in Central Java. The implementation of the Environmental Support Programme Phase 3 (ESP 3) provides technical and financial support, realized through the construction of the Jatibarang Waste-to-Energy Power Plant in Semarang City, the Karimunjawa Islands Solar Power Plant in Jepara Regency, the Pati Onggok Biogas Plant in Daleman Village, Klaten Regency, and technology transfer, specifically refused-derived fuel technology at the Jeruk Legi Landfill in Cilacap Regency. These findings indicate that the implementation of ESP 3 in Central Java can achieve clean energy and reduce emissions resulting from the use of fossil fuels.
