Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh desain fasad bangunan terhadap kenyamanan termal dalam ruang pada perumahan Serpong Garden 2 yang terletak di iklim tropis lembab. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan analisis lapangan, penelitian ini memfokuskan pada parameter-parameter seperti temperatur permukaan, bayangan (azimuth dan altitude), serta temperatur efektif berdasarkan data suhu dan kelembaban. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa beberapa elemen fasad seperti material, orientasi, dan keberadaan elemen peneduh berperan penting dalam mengurangi panas berlebih yang masuk ke dalam ruang. Ditemukan bahwa beberapa titik pada rumah tidak mampu mempertahankan suhu dalam ruang yang stabil, terutama pada saat siang hari, meskipun terdapat upaya perlindungan seperti bukaan dan shading. Analisis temperatur efektif juga menunjukkan bahwa pada jam-jam tertentu penghuni mengalami ketidaknyamanan termal. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan desain fasad seperti penambahan kanopi, pemilihan material insulatif, serta perancangan ventilasi silang untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan termal. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan dalam merancang hunian yang adaptif terhadap iklim dan berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Desain Fasad, Kenyamanan Termal, Iklim Tropis, Temperatur Efektif, Material Bangunan / This study aims to examine the influence of building facade design on indoor thermal comfort in the Serpong Garden 2 housing complex, located in a humid tropical climate. Using a quantitative approach and field analysis, this research focuses on parameters such as surface temperature, shading (azimuth and altitude), and effective temperature based on temperature and humidity data. The results show that facade elements such as material, orientation, and shading devices play a significant role in reducing excessive heat entering the building. It was found that several parts of the house failed to maintain stable indoor temperatures, especially during midday hours, despite the presence of openings and shading devices. The analysis of effective temperature also reveals that occupants experience thermal discomfort at specific times of the day. This study provides facade design recommendations including the addition of canopies, the use of insulating materials, and the implementation of cross ventilation strategies to improve thermal comfort.
