Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh profitabilitas, likuiditas, aktivitas, perubahan harga komoditas batu bara, laju inflasi terhadap return saham pada perusahaan sektor pertambangan batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2018–2022, dengan mempertimbangkan dampak perang antara Ukraina dan Rusia. Return saham menggambarkan tingkat keuntungan atau kerugian yang diperoleh investor dari investasi yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling dalam pemilihan sampel. Sampel yang digunakan mencakup perusahaan pertambangan batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), dengan data diperoleh dari sumber sekunder. Hasil analisis secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa likuiditas, aktivitas, dan perubahan harga komoditas batu bara tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham. Namun, profitabilitas dan inflasi terbukti berpengaruh terhadap return saham perusahaan pertambangan batu bara. Kata kunci: pertambangan batu bara, return saham, profitabilitas, likuiditas, aktivitas, perubahan harga komoditas, laju inflasi. / This study aims to examine the influence of profitability, liquidity, activity, commodity coal price changes, and inflation rate on stock returns of coal mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2018 2022 period, considering the impact of the Ukraine-Russia war. Stock returns represent the level of profit or loss investors obtain from their investments. This research employs a quantitative method using the purposive sampling technique for sample selection. The sample consists of coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), with data sourced from secondary sources. The partial analysis results indicate that liquidity, activity, and coal commodity price changes do not significantly affect stock returns. However, profitability and inflation rates have been proven to influence stock returns of coal mining companies.
