Abstract

This research was made for the field of literature with the aim of (1) looking for the characteristics of the moralist world shown at Disco Elysium, (2) looking for moral character at Disco Elysium. (3) analyzing the differences between the moralist world depicted in Disco Elysium and the moralist ideology that has been theorized by philosophers. The research used in this study is a qualitative methodology. The source used in this research data is the adventure video game Disco Elysium, and researchers will analyze the moralist world of Disco Elysium. The research data analyzed are dialogues from dialogues of characters, environments and scenarios that occur in the video game Disco Elysium. The results of this study prove that the world of moralists is not as ideal as believed in their ideology, because in research it is shown that moralist ideology actually has weaknesses with good and bad results as one of the characteristics of their ideology. It is also proven that the moralist ideology described by the author of the story Disco Elysium is not much different from one of the moralist philosophers due to the approval of one of the experts.
