Abstract

Designing a smart building apartment in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, presents a strategic solution to address the high population density and land scarcity in the capital city. With a continuously growing population and limited land availability, vertical living spaces like apartments have become a compelling choice. Smart buildings integrate advanced technologies to enhance energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and security. The design outcome demonstrates that implementing smart building technologies can create modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly living spaces, aligning with Jakarta's vision as a smart city. Energy automation systems, optimized spatial layouts, and adequate supporting facilities are the primary focuses of this design. Therefore, the smart building concept for apartments in Kelapa Gading can provide an innovative and sustainable solution to meet housing needs in North Jakarta.
