Abstract

Pelayanan Sekolah Minggu pada sebuah gereja lokal adalah hal yang penting dan mendesak; melalui pelayanan Anak ini, diharapkan generasi awal yang nantinya akan menjadi pemimpin dan penentu arah kebijakan pelayanan gereja kelak, perlu dipersiapkan sejak dini. Sayangnya pelayanan bidang Sekolah Minggu sering terabaikan, dan kebanyakan gereja mengalami kendala dalam upaya pembelajaran Kristen di lingkup Sekolah Minggu. Kurang optimalnya perhatian gereja bagi terciptanya ekosistem pembelajaran yang dimaksud dapat dengan mudah terlihat dalam praktik pelayanan kegerejaan sehari-hari. Dalam observasi awal yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, GMIM Sion Jakarta Utara belum memenuhi kriteria sebagaimana mestinya sebuah ekosistem pembelajaran, sehingga terlihat kurang optimalnya perhatian gereja bagi terciptanya ekosistem pembelajaran Pendidikan Kristen dalam pelayanan di Sekolah Minggu. GMIM Sion Jakarta Utara, sebagai salah satu gereja lokal tentunya berupaya membenahi diri supaya penatalayanan pada anak-anak Sekolah Minggu. Berkaitan dengan penelitian ini, terdapat tiga komponen penting untuk dikaji lebih mendalam; yang menjadi permasalahan yang harus dijawab, yaitu: (1) Tidak optimalnya perhatian gereja bagi terciptanya Ekosistem pembelajaran Pendidikan Kristen dalam pelayanan Komisi Anak Gereja Masehi Injili di Minahasa (GMIM) Sion Jakarta Utara, (2) Kurangnya komptensi Guru Sekolah Minggu dalam proses pengajaran di lingkungan pelayanan Komisi Anak Gereja Masehi Injili di Minahasa (GMIM) Sion Jakarta Utara, dan (3) Lambannya pertumbuhan iman anak-anak Sekolah Minggu di lingkungan pelayanan Komisi Anak Gereja Masehi Injili di Minahasa (GMIM) Sion Jakarta Utara. Ketiga hal tersebut perlu mendapat solusi karena sebagai mitigasinya, gereja harus mewaspadai dan membenahi diri. Penelitian ini melibatkan sejumlah unsur didalamnya, yaitu: Pendeta Jemaat, Penatua Sekolah Minggu, Guru Sekolah Minggu, Anak-Anak Sekolah Minggu, dan Orang Tua Anak (Murid) Sekolah Minggu. Metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian tentunya akan menghasilkan kebaharuan (novelty), dan untuk itu peneliti menyandingkannya dengan beberapa penelitian terdahulu (state of the art); dengan perbedaan pada penelitian terdahulu baik judul, kebaharuan data, kebaharuan metode, kebaharuan analisis maupun hasil yang akan dicapai. / The Sunday School ministry in a local church is an important and urgent matter; through this Children's ministry, it is hoped that the early generation who will eventually become leaders and determinants of the church's ministry direction in the future, require early cultivation. Unfortunately, Sunday School ministry is often neglected, and most churches face challenges in efforts to provide Christian education within the Sunday School scope The church's inadequate attention to creating the intended learning ecosystem can easily be seen in the daily ministry practices. In the initial observation conducted by researcher, GMIM Sion North Jakarta has not met the criteria as a proper learning ecosystem, thus showing the church's insufficient attention to creating a Christian Education learning ecosystem in Sunday School ministry. GMIM Sion North Jakarta, as one of the local churches, certainly strives to improve itself to serve the children in Sunday School better. In relation to this research, there are three important components to be studied in depth; the issues that need to be addressed are: (1) The church's inadequate attention to creating a Christian Education learning ecosystem in the Children Commission of Gereja Masehi Injili di Minahasa (GMIM) Sion North Jakarta, (2) The lack of competence of Sunday School teachers in the teaching process within the Children Commission of Gereja Masehi Injili di Minahasa (GMIM) Sion North Jakarta, and (3) The slow growth of faith among Sunday School children within the Children Commission of Gereja Masehi Injili di Minahasa (GMIM) Sion North Jakarta. These three aspects need solutions because as a mitigation, the church must be vigilant and improve itself. his research involves several elements, namely: Congregational Pastors, Sunday School Elders, Sunday School Teachers, Sunday School Children, and Parents of Sunday School Children. A qualitative method with a case study approach is used in this research. The research will certainly produce novelty, and for that reason, the researcher compares it with previous studies (state of the art); with differences in previous research, including titles, novelty of data, novelty of methods, novelty of analysis, and results to be achieved
