Abstract

Karena kondisi cuaca, suhu dan padatnya lalu lintas di Indonesia menyebabkan banyak jalan – jalan di Indonesia banyak mengalami keruskan seperti jalan berlubang dan terkelupas akibat beban yang diterima dan perubahan suhu yang tidak menentu. Pengujian ini dilakukan di laboratoriun dengan menggunakan marshall. Pada penelitian sebelumnya campuran aspal beton dengan bahan tambah PVA sebesar 3% didapatkan hasil stabilitas yang kuat tetapi nilai kelelehannya tinggi. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menurunkan kelelehan yang tinggi akibat penambahan PVA dengan menggunakan karet ban dengan persentase kenaikan karet ban sebesar 0.3% sampai 0.7% dengan kadar aspal optimum 6.5%. Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan nilai stabilitas turun sebesar 40% dari nilai PVA 3% adalah 1817.5 kg dan PVA 3% + karet ban 0.5% adalah 1073.92 kg, nilai kelelehan naik sebesar 13% dari nilai PVA 3% adalah 3.2 mm dan PVA 3% + karet ban 0.5% adalah 3.72, dan nilai marshall quotient turun 32% dari PVA 3% adalah 427.68 kg/mm dan PVA 3% + karet ban 0.5% adalah 289.01 kgn/mm. Kata Kunci : PVA, Karet Ban, Uji Marshall, Stabilitas, Kelelehan, Marshall Quotion. / Due to weather conditions, the temperature and the density of traffic in Indonesia causing many roads in Indonesia many damage such as hollowroad and chipped a result accepted burden and erratic temperature changes. This test is done in the laboratory using a marshall. On the research of asphalt concrete mixture previously with added PVA 3% obtained results the stability that strong but flow value is high. This research aims to lower its high flow due to the addition of PVA by using rubber tyres with rubber tires increase percentage of 0.3% to 0.4% the rate of optimum asphalt with 6.5%. From the results obtained by testing the value of stability down by 40% of the value of PVA 3% is 1817.5 kg and 3% + PVA gum ban 0.5% was 1073.92 kg, a value flow rose by 13% of the value of the 3% PVA is 3.2 mm and PVA gum ban + 3% 0.5% is 3.72, and marshall value quotient is down 32% from 3% PVA is 427.68 kg/mm and PVA 3% + 0.5% is the tire rubber 289.01 kgn/mm.
