Abstract
Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas dan Uap (PLTGU) milik PT.Cikarang Listrindo merupakan salah satu produsen tenaga listrik di Indonesia. Banyak hal utuk menjaga performa dari PLTGU agar selalu dalam kondisi terbaiknya, salah satunya adalah dengan selalu menjaga kebersihan dari komponen utamanya yaitu kondensor. Saat ini telah banyak penyedia layanan pembersihan kondensor menggunakan metode baru, dua diantaranya adalah menggunakan metode water jet dan bullet shot. Pada metode water jet pembersihan kondensor dimulai dengan merendam pipa-pipa kondensor menggunakan cairan kimia yang telah dicampur air dengan perbandingan 25% acairan kimia, 75% air. Kemudian disembur dengan air bertekanan 150-200 bar. Pada metode bullet shot pembersihan menggunakan peluru yang tebuat dari material plastic dan besi. Peluru-peluru tersebut memiliki ukuran yang sesuai dengan ukuran pipa kondensor. Peluru-peluru tersebut dipasang di lubang pipa kemudian di tekan menggunakan air bertekanan 13-20 bar. Setelah proses pembersihan dilakukan pemeriksaan bagian dalam pipa-pipa kondensor menggunakan alat borescope. Dari hasil penelitan yang telah dilakukan dapat dipilih bahwa pembersihan kondensor menggunkan metode bullet shot menghasilkan kenaikan daya yang lebig besar dibandingkan dengan metode water jet, walupun biayanya lebih tinggi. Namun biaya proses tersebut dapat dipulihkan hanya dalam waktu 3.9 hari. Kata kunci: bullet shot, water jet, efektifitas kondensor. / Gas and Steam Power Plant owned by PT. Cikarang Listrindo is one of the power producers in Indonesia. Many things to keep the performance of the PLTGU to always in the best condition, one of them is always maintain the cleanliness of the main component that is condenser. Currently there are many condenser cleaning service providers with new methods, two of they are water jet method and bullet shot method. The water jet method of condenser cleaning begins by immersing condenser pipes using a water-mixed with chemical with a ratio of 25% of the chemical, 75% water. Then sprayed with pressurized water 150-200 psi. In the bullet shot cleaning method using bullets made from plastic material and iron. The bullets size are accordance with the size the condenser pipe. The bullets are mounted in the pipe hole then pressed using pressurized water 13-20 bar. After the cleaning process is done, check the inside of condenser pipes using a borescope tool. From the results can be selected that condenser cleaning is bullet shot method, because the power increase larger than the water jet method, even though the cost is higher. However the cost of the process can be recovered in 3.9 days. \ Key word : bullet shot, water jet, condenser effective
