Abstract

PT.Y Merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pembuatan engine transmission yang terdiri dari head cylinder, piston dan poros (gear & axle). Meningkatnya permintaan konsumen tentu harus diimbangi oleh peningkatan kapasitas produksi. Kondisi saat ini sering terjadi loss time dalam proses produksi karena proses cycle time mesin yang lama. Hal ini terjadi pada proses pembuatan gear dengan mesin cnc hobbing. Untuk memperbaiki hal tersebut maka perlu dilakukan analisa reduce cycle time cnc hobbing machine pada proses pembuatan gear. Dalam analisa ini, kondisi aktual cycle time hobbing yaitu 0.78 menit, sedangkan target yang diinginkan yaitu 0.45 menit. Maka untuk mencapai hal tersebut di perlukan trial reduce cycle time. Trial reduce menggunakan 6 percobaan, masing masing percobaan memiliki langkah-langkah yang berbeda-beda. Sehingga menggunakan table reduce untuk mengetahui perubahan-perubahan tersebut. Percobaan yang dilakukan dengan menambah cutting speed dari cutter hobbing, dan DOC (Depth of Cut) banyaknya pemakanan dari proses hobbing tersebut. Dari hasil trial menunjukan bahwa cycle time tercepat yaitu 0.44 menit. Sedangkan target yaitu 0.45 menit. / PT.Y company is engaged in the manufacture of engine transmission which consists of a cylinder head, piston and shaft (gear and axle). Increasing consumer demand would be offset by an increase in production capacity. This condition often occurs when the loss time in the production process because the process cycle time, machine time. This occurs in the process of making the gear hobbing cnc machines. To remedy this it is necessary to reduce cycle time analysis cnc hobbing machine in gear manufacturing process. In this analysis, the actual condition of hobbing cycle time is 0.78 minutes, while the desired target is 0.45 minutes. So to achieve this in the trial need reduce cycle time. Trial reduce use of 6 experiments, each experiment has steps vary. So use the table reduce to determine those changes. The experiments were performed by adding the cutting speed of the cutter hobbing, and DOC (Depth of Cut) feeds many of the hobbing process. From the results of the trial showed that the fastest cycle time is 0.44 minutes. While the target of 0.45 minutes.
