Abstract

Kabel utuh NYM 3 x 2.5 mm2 banyak digunakan di dalam aplikasi bidang teknik, terutama sebagai komponen penghantar daya listrik yang akan digunakan pada peralatan. Memiliki standar sifat mekanis dan sifat elektrikal. Sifat mekanis yang disyaratkan berupa uji tarik dan uji metalografi untuk melihat karakteristik material tersebut, serta sifat elektrikal yang disyaratkan berupa uji resistivitas dan konduktivitas untuk mengetahui kemampuan menghantar daya listrik. Melihat pada aplikasi bidang teknik sangatlah diperlukan sehingga dilakukan penelitian mengenai sifat mekanis dan sifat elektrikal kabel utuh dengan perlakuan panas yang dimaksudkan sebagai simulasi kebakaran sesungguhnya. Pada penelitian ini diberikan perlakuan panas dengan temperatur 100ºC, 120ºC, 150ºC, 180ºC, 200ºC dan pendinginan udara, pasir, air sabun, air hujan, campuran dari semuanya, dilakukan pengujian tarik, foto struktur mikro, dan uji resistivitas bahan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sifat mekanis kabel dengan perlakuan panas yang berbeda memiliki nilai dari kekuatan tarik dan resistivitas bahan yang berbeda pada setiap spesimen uji. Dengan Temperatur tinggi dan suhu pendinginan yang rendah akan menurunkan kekuatan tariknya serta semakin cepat pendinginannya akan menurunkan resistivitas bahan dan pada analisa struktur mikro perbedaannya akan terlihat. Kata kunci : Kabel, resistivitas, karakteristik mekanis. / Completed cable NYM 3 x 2.5 mm2 widely used in the fields of engineering applications, particularly as a conductor of electrical power components that will be used on the equipment. Required mechanical properties such as tensile testing and metallographic test to look at the characteristics of the material, as well as the electrical properties required in the form of resistivity and conductivity test to determine the ability to deliver power. Look at the application engineering is necessary so to do research on the mechanical properties and electrical properties of intact wires with heat treatment is intended as a simulation of real fire. In this study, given the heat treatment at a temperature of 100 º C, 120 º C, 150 º C, 180 º C, 200 º C and cooling air, sand, soapy water, rain water, a mixture of everything, do tensile testing, photo microstructure, and test resistivity material. The test results demonstrate the mechanical properties of wires with different heat treatments have values of tensile strength and resistivity of different materials on each test specimen. With high temperature and low temperature cooling will reduce its strength as well as the rapid cooling will lower the resistivity of the material and the analysis of the microstructure of the difference will be visible.
