Abstract

Berdasarkan penilaian internasional PISA dan TIMSS, menunjukkan hasil Literasi sains di Indonesia berada dikategori rendah. Menunjukkan adanya tantangan yang signifikan dalam kualitas Pendidikan. Peneliti menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purpove sampling dengan jumlah 55 mahasiswa. Desain penelitian adalah One Group pretest-posttes, mahasiswa di uji sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media PLTS. Instrument yang di gunakan adalah angket dan tes berupa pernyataan pada angket berjumlah 28 soal pada aspek sikap dan perilaku dan tes berjumlah 20 soal berbentuk pilihan ganda. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah Paired Sample t-test untuk melihat apakah ada perbedaan literasi mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Nilai rata rata hasil literasi mahasiswa pada pretest 36.73< postest 64.45 dan memiliki nilai N-Gain sebesar 0.43 termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Sedangkan analisis literasi pada aspek sikap dan perilaku rata-rata nilai yang dari kedua fakultas FKIP dan FT adalah 69.04 untuk aspek perilaku rata-rata nilai 89.02. Secara deskriptif, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara nilai pretest dan posttest. Dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata rata antara nilai literasi pretest dan posttest, yang berarti ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penggunaan media Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya terhadap peningkatan literasi mahasiswa Universitas Kristen Indonesia. The hypothesis test used was the Paired Sample t-test to see if there was a difference in student literacy before and after being given treatment. The average value of student literacy results in the pretest was 36.73 <posttest 64.45 and had an N-Gain value of 0.43 included in the moderate category. While the analysis of literacy in the attitude and behavior aspects, the average value from the two faculties, FKIP and FT, was 69.04 for the behavioral aspect, the average value was 89.02. Descriptively, there is a difference in the average between the pretest and posttest scores. With a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This shows that there is an average difference between the pretest and posttest literacy scores, which means that there is a significant influence on the use of Solar Power Plant media on increasing the literacy of students at the Indonesian Christian University.
