Abstract

Covid-19 has been confirmed reported globally as many as 83.015.212 cases on December 31, 2020. Then, the clinical syndrome acquired in Covid-19 cases has no specific symptoms. This research aims to know the description and correlation between the clinical syndrome of Covid-19 with SIRS based on the 1991 ACCP / SCCM conference consensus criteria, there were 2-4 symptoms from temperature >38oC or <36oC, heart rate >90x/minute, respiration rate> 20x/minute or PaCO2<32 mmHg, and leukocyte count >12,000 cells / µL or <4000 cells / µL. The study design used cross-sectional by descriptive of bivariate linear regression analysis, 41 samples of patients had been comfirmed Covid-19 were obtained at a private hospital in East Bekasi in June ̶ November 2020. This study showed a statistically significant correlation between the clinical syndrome of Covid-19 and the SIRS (P = 0.000) tested with Spearman’s correlation test. Keywords: Covid-19, SIRS, PCR
