Abstract
Angular cheilitis adalah jenis penyakit di jaringan lunak sekitar mulut yang dapat terjadi pada anak – anak dan orang dewasa, gejalanya ditandai dengan retakan dan radang pada kedua sudut mulut, Skripsi ini membahas tentang hubungan angular cheilitis dengan status gizi siswa pondok pesantren Ar – Ridwan Bekasi Tahun 2019, dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa / santri SD Pondok Pesantren Ar – Ridwan Bekasi Tahun 2019 yang berjumlah 56 anak. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling dengan besar sampel sama dengan jumlah populasi. Pengumpulan data dengan cara pengisian kuesioner, pengambilan foto sudut bibir, serta pengukuran tinggi badan dan berat badan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebanyak 21 anak (37,5%) positif angular cheilitis, paling banyak ditemukan pada anak dengan indeks massa tubuh sangat kurus sebanyak 10 anak. dan 35 anak anak (62,5%) negatif angular cheilitis. Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara prevalensi angular cheilitis dengan status gizi (p < 0,005). Kata kunci: Angular Cheilitis, Status Gizi, Indeks Massa Tubuh. / Angular cheilitis is a type of disease in the soft tissues around the mouth that can occur in children and adults, the symptoms are characterized by cracks and inflammation in both corners of the mouth, this thesis discusses the relationship of angular cheilitis with the nutritional status of students at the Ar-Ridwan boarding school in Bekasi 2019, using a cross sectional design. The population in this study were students of SD Pondok Pesantren Ar - Ridwan Bekasi in 2019, amounting to 56 children. Sampling using a total sampling method with a sample size equal to the population. Data collection by filling out questionnaires, taking lip corner photographs, as well as measurements of height and weight. The results obtained as many as 21 children (37.5%) positive for angular cheilitis, most commonly found in children with a very thin body mass index of 10 children. and 35 children (62.5%) negative angular cheilitis. There was a significant relationship between the prevalence of angular cheilitis and nutritional status (p <0.005). Keywords: Angular Cheilitis, Nutritional Status, Body Mass Index
