Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu faktor-faktor apa saja membuat orang tua berminat untuk memasukan anak ke Happy Hearts School. Faktor-faktor yang diminati orang tua ini juga merupakan faktor-faktor keunggulan dari sekolah. Penelitian ini digunakan untuk memberikan saran bagi Yayasan, guru, dan staf untuk memperhatikan minat orang tua, mewujudkan harapan orang tua, menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas sarana dan prasarana sekolah, kebersihan, guru, kurikulum, dan selalu memberikan harga yang terjangkau; sehingga orang tua puas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey kualitatif dengan menggunakan survey, wawancara, observasi, dan analisis SWOT. Pengambilan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu menggunakan orang tua sebagai sumber data. Hasil penelitan adalah orang tua berminat memasukan anak mereka ke Happy Hearts School karena sekolah masih sedikit muridnya sehingga guru akan lebih dapat memberikan perhatian ke anak dan mereka ingin anak belajar sosialisasi dan berkomunikasi. Keunggulankeunggulan yang lain adalah sarana dan prasarana yang baru dan bersih, guru-guru berkemampuan mengajar baik, kurikulum yang dapat mengembangkan potensi, kemampuan, keterampilan, dan karakter anak, lokasi sekolah yang mudah dijangkau dan dekat dari tempat tinggal, dan harga yang terjangkau. Kata kunci: peminatan orang tua, sekolah, anak usia dini. / The aim of this research is to find out what makes parents put interest in Happy Hearts School and enrol their kid to the school. This also will be the strength factors of Happy Hearts School. This research is used to give the school foundation, teachers, and staffs advices to concern parents’ interest, realize parents’ hope, maintain and increase the quality of school infrastructure, cleanliness, teachers, curriculum, and always give affordable prices so that parents can be satisfied. This research uses qualitative survey research using survey, interview, observation, and SWOT analysis. Technique for taking data is purposive sampling which parents are as the samples. The research results are parents are interested in enrolling their kid at Happy Hearts School because the school has not had many students, so the teachers can give more attentions to the kids and they want their kids to learn how to socialize and communicate. The other strength factors of Happy Hearts School are its clean and new infrastructures, capable teachers in teaching the kids, curriculum which can develop the kids’ potency, ability, skill, and characters, accessible location which near from parents’ house, and affordable price Keyword: Parents’ interest, choosing new school, early childhood kids
