Abstract

Pelayanan kesehatan modern telah berkembang di Indonesia, namun jumlah masyarakat yang memilih pengobatan tradisional patah tulang tetap tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui prevalensi penderita fraktur tulang panjang yang berobat ke pengobatan alternatif dan faktor yang mendasarinya. Desain yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan sampel sebanyak 50 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling, menggunakan kuisioner berupa data demografi dan pertanyaan tentang faktor seseorang memilih pengobatan alternatif tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dari 50 responden, 70% berjenis kelamin laki-laki, 24% berusia 20-30 tahun, 50% berpendidikan terakhir SMA/SMK, 40% bekerja sebagai serabutan. Dengan keadaan 66% fraktur tertutup dan 52% sudah pernah ke Rumah Sakit. Faktor yang mendasari pasien untuk memilih pengobatan alternatif patah tulang adalah 51,2% faktor pengetahuan, 60,4% faktor psikologis, 58% faktor ekonomi, 50,4% faktor sosial, 50% fakktor budaya, 47,2% karena ketidakpuasan terhadap pelayanan medis. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa prevalensi penderita fraktur tulang panjang yang berobat ke pengobatan alternatif masih tinggi dan sebagian besar responden memilih karena faktor psikologis. Kata Kunci : Prevalensi, fraktur, faktor yang mendasari pemilihan pengobatan alternatif patah tulang. / Modern health care has grown in Indonesia, but the number of people who choose traditional healing fractures remains high. The purpose of this study to determine the prevalence of patients with long bone fractures are treated to alternative medicine and the factors underlying them. The design was descriptive and a sample of 50 respondents using purposive sampling technique, using a questionnaire in the form of demographic data and questions about factors such alternative treatment one chooses. The results showed 50 respondents, 70% were male, 24% were aged 20-30 years, 50% educated past high school / vocational, 40% worked as odd. With the state of 66% of closed fracture and 52% had never been to the hospital. The underlying factors of patients to choose the alternative treatment of fractures knowledge factor was 51.2%, 60.4% psychological factors, 58% of economic factors, social factors of 50.4%, 50% fakktor culture, 47.2% because of dissatisfaction with the service medical. Therefore, it can be concluded that the prevalence of patients with long bone fractures are treated to alternative medicine is still high and most respondents chose due to psychological factors.
