Abstract

Apendisitis akut merupakan peradangan pada apendiks vermiformis yang merupakan penyebab tertinggi kasus akut abdomen dan salah satu bentuk kegawatdaruratan abdomen yang sering ditemukan di masyarakat. Tingginya kasus apendisitis akut di masyarakat ini menyebabkan perlunya suatu metode cepat dan mudah untuk dapat mendiagnosis penyakit ini, salah satunya menggunakan Skor Alvarado. Penelitian ini melihat hubungan penilaian Skor Alvarado dengan tatalaksana pasien apendisitis akut di RS UKI periode Agustus 2014 – Juli 2017 menggunakan metode observasional analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data yang digunakan diambil dari data rekam medis sebanyak 98 pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan p (0,00) < a (0,05) sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara penilaian Skor Alvarado dengan tatalaksana apendisitis akut. Kata kunci: Skor Alvarado, apendisitis akut, tatalaksana apendisitis akut. / Acute appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix vermiformis which is the highest cause of abdominal pain cases and one of the most common forms of abdominal emergency in the community. The high cases of acute appendicitis in this community led to the need for a quick and easy method to diagnose the disease, and one of which uses Alvarado Score. This study purpose is to know the relation between Alvarado Score assessment with the management of acute appendicitis in Christian University of Indonesia Hospital on August 2014 until July 2017 using correlation analytic observational method with cross sectional approach. The data were taken from medical record, consist of 98 patients which fullfil the requirements. The results of this study show p (0.00) <a (0.05) so it can be stated that there is a relation between the assessment of Alvarado Score with the management of acute appendicitis.
