Abstract

Demam Dengue (DD) dan Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue. Pada umumnya penderita DD dan DBD akan mengalami fase demam tinggi selama 2-7 hari, yang diikuti oleh fase kritis selama 2- 3 hari ditandai dengan penurunan suhu menjadi 37,5o C – 38o C. Nyamuk Aedes sp betina biasanya menghisap darah mulai pagi sampai petang hari dengan puncak aktivitas pada pukul 09.00- 10.00 dan 16.00- 17.00. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik mahasiswa FK UKI terhadap pencegahan penyakit DD dan DBD. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama bulan Desember 2016. Responden didapat dari angkatan 2013,2014,2015, dan 2016. Dari populasi yang berjumlah 856 orang, diambil sampel sebanyak 168 orang. Pada hasil penelitian, terlihat bahwa pada tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap ,jawaban dengan persentase sedang masing-masing adalah 69 orang (41,1%), dan 84 orang (50,0%). Sedangkan pada praktik, jawaban responden dengan presentase baik adalah 106 orang (63,1%). Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa FK UKI sudah cukup baik, akan tetapi masih perlu ditingkatkan melalui pemberian seminarseminar ataupun aksi langsung yang dapat berupa penyuluhan. Dari hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan agar para mahasiswa FK UKI dapat selalu miningkatkan rasa kepeduliannya terhadap masalah DD dan DBD sehingga dapat membantu megurangi angka kejadian DD dan DBD di Indonesia, khususnya di daerah Jakarta. In general, patients with DF and DHF going through a phase of high fever for 2-7 days, marked by a drop in temperature decreasing into 37,5o C – 38o C. the female aedes sp usually suck blood from morning to evening with peak activity at 09:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 17:00. This research aims to determine the level of knowledge, attitudes, and practice of FK UKI students on the prevention of DF and DHF diseases. This research was conducted during Desember of 2016. Respondents were obtained from the students of year 2013,2014,2015, and 2016. From a population of 856 people, taken 168 people as samples. In the research, it appears that the level of knowledge and attitudes, the answer to the respective percentages were 69 people (41.1%), and 84 people (50.0%). While in practice, with a good percentage of respondents is 106 people (63.1%). From the data, it can be concluded that the level of students knowledge of FK UKI has been quite good, but still needs to be improved through the provision seminars of or direct action, such as counseling. From these results, it is expected that the students can always increase the sense of concern for DF and DHF problem so that it can help reduce the incidence of DF and DHF in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta.
