Abstract

Pemilihan Presiden (Pilpres) 2019 merupakan agenda nasional yang diharapkan menjadi perwujudan demokrasi di Indonesia. Menjelang Pemilihan Presiden (Pilpres) 2019, netralitas dan independensi media banyak dipertanyakan oleh masyarakat. Adanya intervensi yang dilakukan oleh pemilik media untuk membentuk citra dari pasangan calon presiden dan wakil presiden melalui berita- berita yang ditampilkan di medianya. Program ROSI Kompas TV melakukan framing mengenai isu Pemilihan Presiden 2019. Seharusnya media tidak boleh melakukan hal tersebut, maka dari itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimanakah framing yang dilakukan oleh Program ROSI Kompas TV dalam membingkai pemberitaan mengenai Pemilihan Presiden 2019 melalui tema yang dibahas dalam setiap episodenya ?. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut, peneliti menggunakan teori agenda setting dan analisis framing model Pan dan Kosicki, kemudian pada hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan dua temuan cara Program ROSI Kompas TV membingkai isu tersebut. Yang pertama yaitu Penentuan Agenda media oleh Kompas TV melalui program ROSI. Peneliti mendapatkan fakta bahwa program ROSI membahas pemberitaan terhadap isu-isuyang sedang trend di masyarakat pada waktu-waktu tertentu. Kompas TV melalui program ROSI telah melakukan agenada dalam melakukan praktik jurnalistiknya. Temuan kedua yaitu keberpihakan program ROSI terhadap salah satu pasangan calon presiden dan wakil presiden. Dari temuan – temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa program ROSI Kompas TV tidak independen pada Pemilihan Presiden 2019 Kata Kunci: Framing, Agenda Setting, Independensi, Pemilihan Presiden 2019. / The Presidential election in 2019 is a national agenda which expected to be a materialization of democracy in Indonesia. Before the presidential election in 2019, neutrality and independence of the media were questioned by public. There is an intervention by the owner of the media to make the image of a certain president and vice president candidate with the story and news that been broadcast by the media. The show “ROSI Kompas TV” are making a framing about the 2019 president election issue. The media aren’t supposed to make that kind of things, and so this research is done to find out how framing is done by the program “ROSI Kompas TV” in the 2019 president election with the theme being brought in the episodes? To answer this question, the researcher is going to use setting agenda theory and Pan and Kosicki’s model of analyze framing, and then in the result the researcher will find two ways that “ROSI Kompas TV” framed the issue. The first is determination of the media agenda by Kompas TV through “ROSI”. Researcher receive a lot of fact that the program “ROSI” is discussing topic that is trending in the public eyes on certain time. Kompas TV through “ROSI” program have been unfair in the journalistic practice. The second one is the partisanship of the program “ROSI” towards one of the presidents and vice president candidate. From these findings it can be concluded that the program “ROSI Kompas TV” isn’t neutral and independent in the 2019 presidential election.
