Abstract

Diare yaitu penyakit yang ditandai dengan tinja encer atau cair dengan frekuensi tiga kali atau lebih dalam waktu 24 jam. Diare dapat terjadi oleh faktor infeksi atau non infeksi yang mengakibatkan terjadi gangguan motilitas, gangguan osmotik dan gangguan sekresi pada sistem pencernaan. Balita rentan mengalami diare karena sistem imunitas yang belum terbentuk secara sempurna, apabila balita mengalami diare gejala dehidrasi akan timbul yang mengakibatkan kasus kematian akibat diare pada balita. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami profil kasus diare akut pada balita. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode pendekatan secara retrospektif menggunakan data sekunder yang didapatkan dengan rekam medis Klinik Boedi Kasfilla periode 2023. Jumlah populasi yang didapatkan sebanyak 50 pasien dengan hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian yaitu kelompok terbanyak pada kelompok usia 12-23 bulan sebanyak 17 kasus pada diare akut (34%), hasil kelompok terbanyak pada jenis kelamin ditemukan pada berjenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 27 kasus pada diare akut (54%), hasil kelompok terbanyak pada kelompok gizi kurang sebanyak 23 kasus pada diare akut (46%) dan pasien diare akut terbanyak dengan status dehidrasi yaitu pada kelompok dehidrasi ringan/ sedang sebanyak 23 kasus (46%). / Diarrhea is a disease characterized by watery or watery stools with a frequency of three or more within 24 hours. Diarrhea can occur due to infectious or non-infectious factors which result in motility disorders, osmotic disorders and secretion disorders in the digestive system. Toddlers are susceptible to diarrhea because the immune system is not yet fully formed. If a toddler experiences diarrhea, symptoms of dehydration will arise, resulting in cases of death due to diarrhea in toddlers. The aim of this research is to understand the profile of acute diarrhea cases in toddlers. This research is a descriptive study with a retrospective approach method using secondary data obtained from the medical records of the Boedi Kasfilla Clinic for the period 2023. The total population obtained was 50 patients with the results obtained in the study being the largest group in the 12-23 month age group with 17 cases. in acute diarrhea (34%), the highest group results in gender were found in male with 27 cases in acute diarrhea (54%), the highest group results in the malnutrition group were 23 cases in acute diarrhea (46%) and The most acute diarrhea patients with dehydration status were in the mild/moderate dehydration group with 23 cases (46%).
