Abstract

Kampung Pitu adalah desa unik di Kapanewon Patuk, Desa Nglanggeran Wetan, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, hanya dihuni oleh 7 keluarga sesuai mitos setempat. Jumlah penduduk tidak boleh lebih atau kurang dari 7 kepala keluarga, menambah daya tarik desa ini. Selain itu, pertunjukan wayang kulit dilarang karena adanya Gunung Wayang. Penduduk percaya bahwa melanggar pantangan ini bisa mengakibatkan bencana, seperti kejadian tragis yang pernah terjadi. Keunikan lain adalah pusaka sakti di pohon Kinah Gadung Wulung di puncak gunung dan tradisi 7 kepala keluarga hanya diwariskan kepada keturunan langsung Mbah Iro Kromo. Seorang sutradara memilih Kampung Pitu sebagai lokasi pembuatan video dokumenter untuk mengungkap rahasia dan kekhasan desa ini. Mulai dari praproduksi hingga pasca produksi, sutradara memilih shot list, komposisi visual, menyiapkan peralatan teknis, menentukan subjek, memilih tujuan publikasi, menyiapkan timeline, dan menghitung anggaran produksi bersama produser. Selama produksi, sutradara memimpin dan memotivasi kru, mengatasi kendala seperti cuaca dan masalah teknis, serta memastikan setiap adegan direkam dengan baik. Manajemen waktu dan sumber daya menjadi kunci agar produksi berjalan sesuai jadwal dan anggaran. Sutradara juga bekerja sama dengan tim lain seperti penulis, produser, sinematografer, dan editor. Pada tahap pasca produksi, sutradara dan editor melakukan rough cut dan fine cut, mengevaluasi dan memilih suara, serta memastikan penyuntingan berjalan lancar untuk menghasilkan film dokumenter yang memuaskan. Film ini menggambarkan kehidupan masyarakat Kampung Pitu, mitos yang diyakini, dan tradisi unik mereka, termasuk ritual Danau Guyangan. Dokumenter ini tidak hanya menarik tetapi juga mengungkap segala rahasia dan kepercayaan desa, menyoroti potensi Kampung Pitu sebagai destinasi wisata yang kaya sejarah dan budaya. Proses produksi yang meliputi berbagai tahapan mulai dari praproduksi hingga pasca produksi semakin menyempurnakan aspek artistik dan teknis dari karya ini. Kata Kunci : Kampung Pitu, Video Dokumenter, Mitos, Penata Visual, Teknik Kamera./Kampung Pitu is a unique village in Kapanewon Patuk, Nglanggeran Wetan Village, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, only inhabited by 7 families according to local myth. The population should not be more or less than 7 heads of families, adding to the attractiveness of this village. In addition, shadow puppet shows are prohibited because of the presence of Mount Wayang. Residents believe that breaking this taboo could result in disaster, like the tragic incident that occurred. Another unique thing is the magical heirloom in the Kinah Gadung Wulung tree at the top of the mountain and the tradition of 7 heads of families only being passed down to Mbah Iro Kromo's direct descendants. A director chose Kampung Pitu as the location for making a documentary video to reveal the secrets and peculiarities of this village. Starting from pre-production to post-production, the director chooses the shot list, visual composition, prepares technical equipment, determines the subject, chooses the publication goal, prepares the timeline, and calculates the production budget with the producer. During production, the director leads and motivates the crew, overcoming obstacles such as weather and technical problems, and ensuring every scene is shot well. Time and resource management is the key to ensuring production runs on schedule and budget. The director also works closely with other teams such as writers, producers, cinematographers and editors. In the post-production stage, the director and editor make rough cuts and fine cuts, evaluate and select sound, and ensure editing runs smoothly to produce a satisfying documentary film. This film depicts the lives of the people of Kampung Pitu, the myths they believe in, and their unique traditions, including the Lake Guyangan ritual. This documentary is not only interesting but also reveals all the secrets and beliefs of the village, highlighting the potential of Kampung Pitu as a tourist destination rich in history and culture.
