Abstract
Lembaga keuangan, seperti bank dan non bank mempunyai peranan penting bagi perekenomian Indonesia. Peran tersebut yaitu lembaga keuangan, baik bank maupun non bank sebagai prasarana menghimpun dana dan menyalurkan dana masyarakat. Fungsi dari pemberian barang jaminan adalah guna memberikan hak dan kekuasaan kepada bank untuk mendapatkan pelunasan dengan barang-barang jaminan tersebut, bila suatu nasabah/debitur sudah tidak mampu membayar kewajibannya paa jangka waktu tertentu atau pada saat jatuh tempo atau pada saat terjadinya kredit bermasalah. Kredit bermasalah dapat dikatakan apabila debitur telah dianggap mengingkari janji untuk membayar bunga dan kredit induk yang jatuh tempo sehingga terjadi keterlambatan pembayaran atau sama sekali tidak ada pembayaran. Dapat dikatakan bahwa kredit bermasalah didalamnya meliputi kredit macet, meskipun demikian tidak semua kredit yang bermasalah adalah kredit macet. Upaya–upaya yang dilakukan menyelamatkan kredit macet adalah reschedulling, recondiioning, dan restructuring. Metode masalah yang digunakan metode kualitatif. Penyelamatan kredit yang sudah diuraikan kadangkala tidak cukup membantu nasabah untuk pulih dalam menjalankan bisnisnya maupun mencegah timbulnya kerugian lebih lanjut bagi bank terkait fasilitas kredit yang diberikan. Dalam kondisi ini mau tidak mau bank harus dapat mengambil keputusan untuk mengakhiri hubungan dengan debitur melalui penyelesaian kredit. Penyelesaian kredit merupakan upaya yang dilakukan oleh pihak bank dimana setelah dilakukan identivikasi, evaluasi dan tindakan penyelamatan. Berdasarkan uraian dan pembahasan sebelumnya mengenai prosedur penyelesaian kredit macet pada PT. BP DMG Cikarang Utara, penulis dapat menarik kesimpulan yaitu : Faktor penyebab terjadinya kredit macet di PT. BPR DMG Cikarang Utara adalah faktor internal dan juga eksternal. Faktor eksternal tersebut adalah adanya pemutusan kontrak kerja sama dengan perusahan, Prosedur penyelesaian kredit macet pada PT. BPR DMG Cikarang Utara berjalan semakin baik. Kata Kunci : Prosedur Penyelesaian Kredit Macet. / Financial institutions, such as banks and non-banks have an important role for the Indonesian economy. This role is that of financial institutions, both banks and non-banks, as infrastructure to collect funds and distribute public funds. The function of providing collateral is to give rights and powers to the bank to get repayment with these collateral items, if a customer/debtor is unable to pay his obligations for a certain period of time or at maturity or when problem loans occur. Non-performing loans can be said if the debtor has been deemed to have broken his promise to pay interest and the principal credit is due resulting in late payments or no payments at all. It can be said that non-performing loans include bad loans, even though not all problem loans are bad loans. Efforts made to save bad loans are rescheduling, recondiioning, and restructuring. The problem method used is a qualitative method. The credit rescue that has been described is sometimes not enough to help customers recover in running their business or prevent further losses for banks related to credit facilities that have been given. In this condition, like it or not, the bank must be able to make a decision to end the relationship with the debtor through credit settlement. Settlement of credit is an effort made by the bank where after identification, evaluation and rescue actions are carried out. Based on the description and previous discussion regarding the procedure for settling bad loans at PT. BP DMG Cikarang Utara, the authors can draw conclusions, namely: Factors causing bad credit at PT. BPR DMG Cikarang Utara are internal as well as external factors. The external factor is the termination of the cooperation contract with the company, the procedure for settling bad loans at PT. BPR DMG Cikarang Utara is getting better.
