Abstract

Disertasi ini merupakan penelitian yang berfokus pada tradisi Maramba khususnya nilai budayanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman suku Tonsawang di desa Kuyanga tentang tradisi Maramba dan settingnya serta relevansi nilai budaya dari tradisi Maramba dengan Pendidikan Agama Kristen bagi pemuda di Gereja Masehi Injili Minahasa ‘Siloam’ Kuyanga. Penelitian ini sekaligus menghasilkan kurikulum Pendiidkan Agama Kristen Berbasis Nilai Budaya bagi pemuda di GMIM Siloam Kuyanga. Sumber data diperoleh peneliti dari data lapangan khususnya wawancara langsung dan observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori nilai budaya dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen bagi pemuda. Pendekatakan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalaha pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan sekaligus menganalisi data yang terkumpul. Pendekatan etnografi digunakan peneliti untuk mengungkapkan pemahaman suku Tonsawang di desa Kuyanga tentang tradisi Maramba dan nilai budayanya relevansi dengan PAK bagi pemuda di GMIM Siloam Kuyanga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Maramba memiliki nilai khususnya nilai budaya dalam relasi manusia dengan Pencipta, alam, sesama dan masyarakat, serta diri sendiri yaitu nilai bersyukur, mengusahakan dan memelihara alam, persaudaraan, kerjasama, kesetaraan, kerukunan, kesetiaan, tolong menolong, kesopanan, kasih saying nasihat, respect, keramahan, kegembiraan, harga diri, kerja keras, tanggung jawab, dan semangat. Berdasarkan nilai-nilai yang terkandung, maka nilai budaya dari tradisi Maramba bersifat alkitabiah dan merepresentasi PAK. Dengan demikian nilai budaya dalam tradisi Maramba relevan dengan PAK bagi pemuda di GMIM Siloam Kuyanga. Selanjutnya berdasarkan relevansi nilai budaya dengan PAK tersusun kurikulum PAK berbasis nilai budaya bagi pemuda di GMIM Siloam Kuyanga. / This disessertation is research that focuses on the Maramba tradition, especially its cultural values. This research aim to analyze the understanding of the Tonsawang tribe in Kuyanga village regarding the Maramba tradition and its setting as well as the relevance of cultural values of the Maramba tradition to Christian Religious Education for youth at the Minahasa Evangelical Church ‘Siloam’ Kuyanga. This research also produces a cultural values based Christian Religious Education curriculum for yout at GMIM Siloam Kuyanga. data sources were obtained by researchers from fiel data, especially direct interviews and abservations. Thius research uses cultural values theory and Christian Religiuous Education for youth. The Approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach to describe and analyze the data collected. The researcher used an ethnographic approach to reveal the understanding of the Tonsawang tribe in Kuyanga village regarding the Maramba tradition and it’s cultural values, which are relevant to Christian Religious Education for youth at GMIM Siloam Kuyanga. The results of the research show that the Maramba tradition has values, especially cultural values in human relations with the Creator (God), nature, other and society, as well as oneself, namely the values of gratitude, seeking and preserving nature, brotherhood, cooperation, equality, harmony, loyalty, mutual help, politeness, love, advice, respect, friendliness, joy, self respect, hard work, responsibility an enthuasism. Based on the values contained, the cultural values of the Maramba tradition ar biblical dan represent Christian Religious Education. Thus cultural values in the Maramba tradititio are relevant to Christian Religious Education for youth at GMIM Siloam Kuyanga. Furthermore, based on the relevance of cultural values with Christian Religious Education, a cultural values based Christian Religious Education curriculum was prepared for youth at GMIM Siloam Kuyanga.
