Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami eksplorasi karier siswa kelas X SMA Angkasa 1 Halim Perdana Kusumah Jakarta Timur. Eksplorasi karier merupakan fase di mana individu mencari pemahaman mendalam tentang pekerjaan, alternatif karier, pilihan dalam bidang karier, dan persiapan karier saat memasuki dunia kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menilai sejauh mana siswa mengeksplorasi karier sesuai dengan bakat dan minat mereka. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan desain survei yang dianalisis secara deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui angket eksplorasi karier berjumlah 40-item yang disebarkan melalui Google Form kepada 101 dari total 359 siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan variasi dalam eksplorasi karier siswa, dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti jenis kelamin, usia, dan aspek eksplorasi karier yang dianalisis. Hasil ini mengindikasikan perlunya pendekatan beragam dalam membantu siswa mengembangkan pemahaman mereka tentang karier dan perencanaan masa depan. Pada akhirnya penelitian ini dapat menyediakan bahan referensi dan studi lanjut bagi mahasiswa yang berencana melakukan penelitian lebih mendalam mengenai eksplorasi karier. Kata Kunci: Eksplorasi Karier, Siswa, Sekolah Menengah Atas. / This research was conducted to understand the career exploration of class X students at SMA Angkasa 1 Halim Perdana Kusumah, East Jakarta. Career exploration is a phase where individuals seek a deep understanding of work, career alternatives, choices in career fields, and career preparation when entering the world of work. The aim of this research is to assess the extent to which students explore careers according to their talents and interests. Using quantitative research methods and a survey design that was analyzed descriptively, data was collected through a 40-item career exploration questionnaire distributed via Google Form to 101 out of a total of 359 students. The results of the analysis show variations in students' career exploration, influenced by factors such as gender, age, and the career exploration aspects analyzed. These results indicate the need for a multifaceted approach in helping students develop their understanding of careers and future planning. In the end, this research can provide reference material and further study for students who plan to conduct more in-depth research regarding career exploration.
