Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada upaya polri dalam melayani masyarakt melalui komunikasi interpersonal di polres Majalengka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan komunikasi interpersonal antara polri dengan masyarakat dalam pelayanan di Polres Majalengka. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara kepada narasumber yaitu personil Polres Majalengka yang terlibat dalam kegiatan komunikasi interpersonal kepada warga masyarakat setempat dalam rangka meningkatkan pelayanan pada publik. Berdasarkan hasil penilitian yang telah dilakukan, bisa disimpulkan bahwa upaya personil Polres Majalengka dalam meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal agar pelayanan kepada masyarakat menjadi lebih baik dilakukan dalam bentuk kegiatan Jum’at Curhat yang dilakukan setiap minggunya. Kegiatan ini menampung keluhan dan masukan masyarakat Majalengka yang nantinya akan diserap dan ditindak lanjuti. / This research focuses on the police's efforts to serve the community through interpersonal communication at the Majalengka Police. This study aims to identify the application of interpersonal communication between the National Police and the community in serving at the Majalengka Police. The research method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research data was obtained by conducting interviews with informants, namely Majalengka Police personnel who were involved in interpersonal communication activities with local community members in order to improve public services. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the efforts of the Majalengka Police in improving interpersonal communication so that service to the community is better is carried out in the form of Friday Confide activities which are carried out every week. This activity accommodates complaints and input from the people of Majalengka which will later be absorbed and followed up.
