Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa SMP terhadap penggunaan Quizizz untuk mengembangkan kosa kata dalam pelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 69 responden di SMPN 26 Jakarta tahun 2022–2023. Desain survei ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen, dan data dianalisis secara kuantitatif, menghasilkan 74% persepsi baik. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa 1,36% siswa sangat tidak setuju, 8,51% tidak setuju, 67,17% setuju, dan 22,96% sangat setuju. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa memiliki persepsi yang baik dan positif tentang penggunaan Quizizz untuk mengembangkan kosa kata. Kata Kunci: Kosakata, Quizizz, Persepsi. / This research was conducted in order to find out the perceptions of junior high school students towards using Quizizz to develop vocabulary in English lessons. The subjects of this study were 69 respondents at SMPN 26 Jakarta in 2022–2023. This is a survey design using a questionnaire as instrument, and the data were analysed quantitatively, which resulted in 74% of a good perception. From the research, it concluded that 1.36% of the students strongly disagree, 8.51% disagree, 67.17% agree, and 22.96% strongly agree. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that students have good and positive perception about using Quizizz to develop vocabulary. Keywords: Vocabulary, Quizizz, Perception
