Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh Pola Asuh Orang Tua Kristen dalam Membentuk Karakter Beriman Remaja di SMP Cahaya Sakti. Penelitian ini di lakukan pada tanggal 16 Juni 2021. Populasi sebanyak 50 siswa-siswi dari kelas VI, VII, IX. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskripsi kuantitatif. Dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan data kuisioner untuk memperoleh data, yang berjumlah 20 penyataan untuk variabel pola asuh orang tua Kristen (X) dengan 2 indikator dan 20 penyataan untuk variabel karakter beriman remaja (Y) dengan 3 indikator. Metode yang di gunakan oleh penulis dalam menguji analisis adalah normalitas, linearitas, uji korelasi dan uji regresi linear berdasarkan analisa data dengan SPSS 2.5. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dari kedua variabel tersebut terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengaruh pola asuh orang tua Kristen terhadap membentuk karakter beriman remaja di SMP Cahaya Sakti hal ini di tunjukan dengan korelasi sebesar 0,464 atau 46,4% yang menunjukan korelasi kedua variabel cukup. Serta koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,764 yang menunjukkan variabel semakin besar pengaruh pola asuh orang tua Kristen maka karakter beriman remaja semakin baik. Dilihat dari persamaan regresi linear Y = 1,825 + 0,796 X Artinya bahwa semakin besar pengaruh pola asuh tua Kristen maka semakin baik karakter beriman remaja. / This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of Christian Parenting Patterns in Forming the Faithful Character of Teenagers in Cahaya Sakti Junior High School? This research was conducted on June 16, 2021. The population was 50 students from class VI, VII, IX. The method used in this research is quantitative description. In carrying out this research, the authors used questionnaire data to obtain data, which amounted to 20 statements for the variable parenting Christian parents (X) with 2 indicators and 20 statements for the variable character of adolescent faith (Y) with 3 indicators. The method used by the author in testing the analysis is normality, linearity, correlation test and linear regression test based on data analysis with SPSS 2.5. Based on the results of hypothesis testing from the two variables, there is a significant relationship between the influence of Christian parenting patterns on shaping the believer character of teenagers in Cahaya Sakti Junior High School, this is shown by a correlation of 0.464 or 46.4% which shows that the correlation of the two variables is sufficient. As well as the coefficient of determination of 0.764 which shows the variable the greater the influence of Christian parenting patterns, the better the adolescent's faithful character. Judging from the linear regression equation Y = 1.825 + 0.796 X This means that the greater the influence of Christian parenting, the better the youth's faith character
