Abstract
Dalam upaya meningkatkan ketahanan energi nasional Indonesia, analisis risiko dilakukan terhadap lokasi dan pemanfaatan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Nuklir (PLTN) sebagai sumber energi listrik. Saat ini, kebutuhan akan sumber energi alternatif meningkat karena keterbatasan sumber daya batu bara yang digunakan untuk pembangkit listrik. PLTN dianggap sebagai alternatif yang relevan. Namun, membangun PLTN di wilayah yang rentan terhadap gempa bumi seperti Indonesia menimbulkan risiko yang signifikan bagi kehidupan manusia dan lingkungan. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan pengumpulan data sekunder tentang tektonik lempeng, risiko pada proyek PLTN, tabel probabilitas risiko, dan tabel dampak risiko. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Perhitungan probabilitas risiko dan dampak risiko dilakukan, dan nilai risiko digambarkan dengan matriks segi empat Boston. Beberapa lokasi PLTN yang mungkin di Indonesia, seperti Bangka Belitung, Jawa Tengah, Kalimantan Timur, dan Kalimantan Barat. Sebagai kesimpulan, betapa pentingnya melakukan analisis risiko sebelum memilih lokasi PLTN untuk digunakan sebagai sumber energi listrik di Indonesia. Untuk mengembangkan PLTN sebagai sumber energi alternatif yang berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan di masa depan, lokasi yang aman dan strategi mitigasi risiko yang tepat harus menjadi perhatian utama. Ini penting dalam konteks ketahanan energi nasional. Kata Kunci : analisis risiko, energi alternatif. / In an effort to improve the national energy resilience of Indonesia, a risk analysis is carried out on the location and use of the Nuclear Power Plant (PLTN) as a source of electricity. Currently, the need for alternative energy sources is increasing due to the limitations of coal resources used for power plants. PLTN is considered a relevant alternative. However, building PLTNs in areas vulnerable to earthquakes, such as Indonesia, poses significant risks to human lives and the environment. This research method involves the collection of secondary data on plate tectonics, risk on PLTN projects, risk probability tables, and risk impact tables. Quantitative methods are used in this study. Risk probability and risk impact calculations are carried out, and risk values are represented by the Boston quadratic matrix. Some PLTN locations are possible in Indonesia, such as Bangka Belitung, Central Java, East Kalimantan, and West Kalimantan. In conclusion, it is important to conduct a risk analysis before choosing a PLTN location to be used as an electricity source in Indonesia. To develop PLTN as a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative energy source in the future, safe locations and appropriate risk mitigation strategies should be the primary concerns.
