Abstract
PLTS merupakan sumber energi terbarukan karena menggunakan tenaga matahari sebagai sumber energinya. Solar photovoltaic menangkap panas matahari dan mengubahnya menjadi energi listrik yang dapat disimpan dalam baterai dan juga dapat digunakan secara langsung. Sistem PLTS yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sistem hybrid on-grid, dengan memanfaatkan kelebihan energi PLTS untuk dijual ke jaringan listrik (grid) PLN. Dari hasil analisis data dan simulasi software HOMER yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh energi listrik yang dibutuhkan BTS adalah sebesar 3,96 kWh/hari dan kapasitas PLTS sebesar 1,3 kW dengan produksi energi listrik sebesar 5,06 kWh/hari. Berdasarkan skenario atau konfigurasi sistem PLTS hybrid on-grid tanpa baterai dengan nilai Net Present Cost (NPC), Rp56.948.220,00, Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) Rp1.144,39/kWh dan Break Even Point (BEP) tercapai setelah 3,3 tahun proyek beroperasi. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi tersebut, ditinjau dari sisi ekonomi maupun sisi energi listrik yang dihasilkan PLTS hybrid on-grid tanpa baterai, dinilai layak digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik BTS Desa Saibi Samukop di Kepulauan Mentawai. / Solar power plants (PLTS) are a renewable energy source as they utilize solar energy as their power source. Solar photovoltaic captures solar heat and converts it into electricity, which can be stored in batteries and used directly. The PLTS system used in this research is a hybrid on-grid system, utilizing the excess energy generated by PLTS to be sold back to the PLN (state-owned electricity company) grid. Based on the data analysis and simulation conducted using the Homer software, it was found that the electrical energy required for the BTS (Base Transceiver Station) is 3.96 kWh/day, and the capacity of the PLTS is 1.3 kW, with electricity production reaching 5.06 kWh/day. Considering the scenario or configuration of the hybrid on-grid PLTS system without batteries, the Net Present Cost (NPC) is Rp56.948.220,00, the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) is Rp1.144,39/kWh, and the Break Even Point (BEP) is achieved after 3.3 years of project operation. Based on the simulation results, both from an economic and electricity production perspective, the hybrid on-grid PLTS system without batteries is considered viable to meet the electricity needs of the BTS in Saibi Samukop Village, Kepulauan Mentawai
