Abstract
Latar Belakang: Kondisi nyeri pada leher yang disebabkan hernia nukleus pulposus cervical. Gejala yang terjadi pada nyeri leher akibat hernia nukleus pulposus cervical berupa nyeri pada leher dan bahu yang menjalar ke tangan, kesemutan, kelemahan pada otot-otot leher, kekakuan pada leher dan nyeri kepala. Fisioterapi berperan penting dalam pemulihan kondisi hernia nukleus pulposus cervical. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui penatalaksanaan fisioterapi pada kondisi Hernia Nukleus Pulposus Cervical dalam mengurangi nyeri pada leher, meningkatkan kekuatan otot serta meningkatkan aktifitas fungsional. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dari pasien dengan kondisi Hernia Nukleus Pulposus Cervical di Rumah Sakit Umum Universitas Kristen Indonesia pada tanggal 17 Maret 2023 dan dilakukan intervensi berupa microwave diathermy, Ultrasound, Terapi Latihan (Stretching). Hasil: Setelah dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali di dapatkan hasil penilaian nyeri tekan mengalami penurunan dan nyeri gerak. Kesimpulan: Microwave Diathermy, Ultrasound dan Terapi Latihan (Stretching) dapat mengurangi nyeri tekan. / Background: Neck pain caused by nuclear hernia cervical pulposus. Symptoms that occur in neck pain due to herniated nucleus pulposus in the form of pain in the neck and shoulders radiating to the hands, tingling, weakness in the neck muscles, stiffness in the neck and headache. Physiotherapy plays an important role in the recovery of herniated conditions of the nucleus pulposus. Purpose: To find out physiotherapy management in the condition of Nucleus Hernia Cervical pulposus in reducing neck pain, increasing strength muscle tone as well as increased functional activity. Method: Method used is a case study of patients with the condition Hernia Nucleus Pulposus Cervical at the University Christian Indonesian General Hospital on March 17, 2023 and interventions in the form of Microwave Diathermy, Ultrasound and Therapy exercise (stretching). Results: After 2 times therapy was obtained The results of the assessment of tenderness have decreased and motion pain. Conclusion: Microwave Diathermy, Ultrasound and Exercise Therapy (Stretching) can be reduces tenderness
