Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prevalensi demam berdarah dengue di RS. Fatima, Ketapang, Kalimantan Barat dari bulan Januari s/d Desember 2017 hingga Januari s/d Agustus 2018, berdasarkan usia, jenis kelamin dan wilayah kecamatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Data penelitian yang digunakan adalah rekam medis pasien DBD yang berjumlah 454 sampel. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan jumlah pasien DBD dari tahun 2017 hingga 2018 di RS Fatima, Ketapang, Kalimantan Barat. Hal ini terjadi disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, antara lain kebersihan lingkungan, perubahan iklim, serta tingkat urbanisasi dan migrasi. Pada umumnya pasien DBD lebih banyak anak-anak dan remaja. Hal tersebut terjadi karena makin muda usia, makin tinggi juga mortalitasnya. Kecamatan yang paling banyak mengalami wabah DBD adalah kecamatan Delta Pawan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh faktor geografis di kecamatan Delta Pawan. Daerah tersebut dikelilingi oleh sungai besar yaitu sungai Pawan dan tekstur tanahnya secara umum adalah rawa-rawa, sehingga perkembangbiakan nyamuk lebih mudah. The objectives of this study was to determine the prevalence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in hospitals. Fatima, Ketapang, West Kalimantan from January to December 2017 – January to August 2018, based on age, gender and sub-district area. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The research data used is a medical record of DHF patients totaling 454 samples. The results showed that there was an increase in the number of DHF patients from 2017 to 2018 at Fatima Hospital, Ketapang, West Kalimantan. This happens due to various factors, including environmental cleanliness, climate change, and the level of urbanization and migration. In general, DHF patients have more children and adolescents. This happens because the younger the age, the higher the mortality. The district that has the most dengue outbreak is Delta Pawan sub-district. This due to geographical factors in Delta Pawan sub-district. The area is surrounded by large rivers namely the Pawan river and the texture of the soil in general is swamps, so mosquito breeding is easier.
